Challenge
Morton Salt's purpose was to boost sales by building an up-to-date and easy-to-use mobile application in order to help snow professionals select an optimal product for their demands. The algorithm had to utilize research data to offer the right ice melting material for specific conditions, climate and surface area. In other words, the goal of the app was to help Morton Salt's clients save money and time by providing them with ice-melting products that perform best in their specific environments.
Solution
Intersog’s design & development team created the Morton Salt Pro app for iOS and Android following the client's brand book and technical requirements.
Based on air temperature and area conditions as input info, the app identifies the best-suited compound in its product database.
It also enables users to track and store site info and provides guidance regarding less suitable ice melting materials.
